Programming Your Eolis 3D WireFree RTS Wind Sensor

When properly installed and maintained this wind sensor will automatically retract your awning and help protect it from windy conditions.

Start by verifying the direction of the motorized awning. The down button should move the awning out. Stop the awning after a few inches by pressing "my."

If you need to change the direction, please refer to the “How to Change the Motor Direction” video.

Now slide the mounting plate off the Eolis 3D WireFree housing in the same direction the arrow indicates. Install the mounting plate using the fasteners on the same side as the motors.

Remove the sensor from the housing using a small screwdriver. Install the batteries as shown in the diagram in the battery compartment and confirm the red light blinks. Press the programming button on the back of the remote until the awning jogs.

A jog is a brief in and out move of your motorized product.

Now press the programming button on the Eolis until the awning jogs again. Snap the sensor back into the housing.

Before you slide the cover on to the mounting plate make sure the cover and arrow are in the same orientation. Slide the housing back on the mounting plate. Test the sensor by simulating wind by pushing up and down on the awning’s front bar until it begins to retract. Press the "my" button to stop the awning after five seconds.

Your Eolis WireFree Wind Sensor is now ready to use!
