What are the different types of profiles that can be created in the TaHoma® by Somfy app?
When creating a new user, you will have the choice between 3 user types:
- Administrator
- Resident
- Guest
These 3 types of users will have different permissions and access levels in your home.
An administrator will have complete access to user management in your home.
Permissions for the administrator user include:
✅ Control of devices
✅ Adding and removing devices
✅ Launching scenarios
✅ Creating and deleting scenarios
✅ User management and creation
✅ Management of professional installer service requests
A resident user will have complete access to your home, except for user management and professional installer service requests.
Permissions for the resident user include:
✅ Control of devices
✅ Adding and removing devices
✅ Launching scenarios
✅ Creating and deleting scenarios
❌ User management and creation
❌ Management of professional installer service requests
A guest user will only have access to control equipment, and their access can be restricted to certain devices.
Permissions for the guest user include:
✅ Control of devices (selected during the user creation)
❌ Adding and removing devices
❌ Launching scenarios
❌ Creating and deleting scenarios
