Can I check the strength of my WiFi myLink connection

Not sure how strong your WiFi connection is? Here’s where to check in your myLink™ device.


The myLink needs to be connected to your WiFi network in order to communicate with your Radio Technology Somfy® (RTS) products. Make sure your myLink is connected to your WiFi network and not your guest network, as this can sometimes cause issues.

Once your myLink is properly connected to your WiFi network, you might need to check your connection. No worries, you’re able to check your WiFi signal strength directly in the myLink smartphone or tablet app!

First, navigate to the Info section of the myLink app.


If you have multiple myLink devices in your system, choose the myLink you’d like to check. In this example we’re checking the WiFi signal strength for our kitchen myLink:


Once you’ve selected the icon for the myLink you’d like to check, you should see an Info page for that particular myLink. Towards the bottom of the screen, in the Network section, you’ll see the WiFi Signal Strength indicator.


For the myLink to function optimally, your WiFi signal strength should read either “Good” or “Excellent.”
