Somfy myLink™: How to Delete a Motor From Your myLink's Memory
Need to delete a shade (or other motorized product) from a myLink™ channel? The process of deleting a Radio Technology Somfy® (RTS) motor from myLink™ is the same as adding one, shown in our Initial Setup and RTS Programming article.
If you have more than one motor on a channel that you are deleting, make sure all the motors but the one you wish to delete are unplugged. Otherwise, the entire channel will be deleted.
If you'd like to delete the entire channel, then don't unplug any of the motors you wish to remove.
To begin, open your myLink app and go to the main menu. Select Edit, then click on RTS Programming Settings.
From the list of channels, select the channel with the motorized product you wish to remove and click on the Programming Wizard for that channel. In our example, it is the drapery.
Next, take the transmitter (remote or switch) controlling the product you wish to delete. On a multi-channel control, select the channel controlling the motor to be deleted.
Press the programming button on that transmitter until the drapery briefly moves back and forth.
Return to the myLink app and click on Next, then click on the blue Program button. The motor will briefly move to confirm the deletion.
Confirm by pressing UP or DOWN on your myLink remote. The drapery should not react. Click Done.
Repeat the steps for any additional products you wish to remove.
You've now removed a motor from your myLink's memory!
