Somfy Now Offers Custom Engraving for DecoFlex WireFree™ RTS Wall Switches

Dayton, NJ (April 3, 2013) – Somfy Systems, Inc., the world's largest manufacturer of radio-controlled motors (Radio Technology Somfy® – RTS) for interior and exterior window coverings, now has the ability to custom engrave their DecoFlex WireFree™ RTS wall switch buttons for additional personalization. The DecoFlex WireFree™ RTS battery powered wall switch can be used to control any Somfy RTS motorized product and can be personalized for intuitive window covering control. With our RTS system there is no wire between the motor and the control unit, allowing for easy installation and no damage to the walls. The switch can be installed independently or next to an existing light switch.

"We are very pleased to announce our new engraving feature for our DecoFlex WireFree™ RTS switch," said Applications Manager, Brent Holup. "Previously, the only option was to use the included stickers or purchase preprinted buttons with generic names like ‘shade' or ‘drapery'. This new feature allows users to further customize their buttons and to choose the name best suited for them."

The engraving options for the DecoFlex WireFree™ RTS includes a nine character maximum (including spaces) for the top six buttons and a five character maximum for the bottom two command buttons. To further customize their switch, customers can choose their preferred character type, such as all capitalized, first letter capitalized or custom. Finally, to ensure that the switch matches every décor, customers can choose between four button colors, white, ivory, almond and black. This custom engraved option is also available with the DecoFlex WireFree™ RTS Table Top Accessory which allows the traditional switch to be converted to a table top control.
