SOMFY SYSTEMS’ TOTAL HOME AUTOMATION SYSTEM TAHOMA® WINS ELECTRONIC HOUSE’S 2012 PRODUCTS OF THE YEAR

Somfy Systems was recently awarded a 2012 Products of the Year Award in the Whole House Control Category from Electronic House for their Total Home Automation System, TaHomA®.  The award was presented to Somfy during a ceremony at CES 2012 in Las Vegas.

Each year, Electronic House invites innovative, high-performing consumer electronic products to participate in the awards submission.  Products can be nominated for one of the 32 consumer electronics product categories, including the brand-new trend-focused categories of Tablets, e-Readers, & Netbooks, and Software & Mobile Apps, which are judged by a panel of industry experts, integrators and editors of Electronic House.

This year, Somfy received accreditation for TaHomA®, an innovative, easy-to-use Z-Wave® home automation solution that allows consumers to control, schedule and supervise their Z-Wave enabled window coverings, lighting, and thermostats.   Accessible from a computer, tablet or smartphone within or outside the home, TaHomA's user-friendly Web-based interface guides consumers with intuitive graphics and step-by-step prompts as they personalize their home energy functions.

"We are honored TaHomA® was named one of Electronic House's 2012 Products of the Year," said Somfy North America CEO and President Michael Lee.  "This award recognizes our team's success in bringing an intuitive, affordable and comprehensive total home automation solution to market."
